This is my Tall Project that I threw on the wheel, with seamix. It is about the length of my hand and the opening is about the size of my palm. The glazes I used were the dark scrape (I think) and the teal; to get the geometric design I used some masking tape and glazed the negative space in between the tape. I then used a paint brush and got the glazes some what watery in a separate container and just ran the glaze along the lip of the project letting the glaze drip. I have never used this glazing technique before, and after watching a video on youtube I decided to try it and I think it turned out pretty well. An art element that is present within this piece is color. I took advantage of the different colored glazes and layered the darker layer over the lighter layer to show off unity of the two glazes.
