This week has been a busy week for me, I have made two plates and two bowls (one of which is pretty big) as well as glazed about 4 extra projects that I have made and I am currently glazing one of my plates that came out too.
9/18/15
Today I started glazing one of many projects. I am working on my oodles of noodles bowl that will have Chinese inspired cherry blossom flowers detailed with glaze on the side then will just have a clear coat. 9/21/15 Today I put the final touches on my cherry blossom bowl. I unloaded the bisque and glaze kiln as well. I started glazing another bowl that has traditional style Chinese art. I also taught the newbies in my cleaning group on how to clean the glaze room. 9/22/15 Today there was a fire drill so we had to sit outside in the cold weather, I also started glazing a bowl with a mountain design on the inside. 9/23/15 Today I made a plate on the wheel using sea mix then I finished glazing my bowl. 9/24/15 Today I footed my plate and glazed my tall project. On Monday I refooted a few projects that were too heavy on the bottom.
9/15- I tested the glazes and marked them all as well as labels some shelves for the bisque projects. (first picture) 9/16 after one failed attempt I had made a bowl that I plan on footing tomorrow. (second picture) Today I had footed three projects as well as played with time lapse a bit, I am going to make a youtube channel to post them all there to put here on the website.
Today I had to add a gallery because I was pretty busy during class today as well during the club today. I had footed one bowl that I had made yesterday, made another bowl, and 2 tall projects (one which I did during the club).
9/8-
Today I had helped Ariana make the 'lit' slip. 9/9- Today I had made a bowl and have a half finished one in the cabinet. |
